School Meals

Edwards and Ward School Caterers

Our school catering company Edwards and Ward provide freshly cooked nutritious meals in our school kitchen for our children every day.

Children have the choice of a nutritious hot meal, (a vegetarian option is also available every day) a jacket potato, a packed lunch from school or they can bring their own sandwiches and packed lunch from home.

Children will come into school each morning and choose what they want for lunch. Our kitchen staff also offer freshly baked bread and freshly prepared salad every day. Children are also offered fresh fruit or yoghurt as well as fresh juice, milk or water with their meal.

Universal Infant Free School Meals - KS1 and Early Years

Your child will be able to get free school meals if they’re in a government funded school and in:

  • reception class
  • year 1
  • year 2

Paying for school meals

A school meal costs just £2.83 per day. (Sept 23) You should book and pay for your childs meal via ParentPay. You have until 10am each day to book your child's meal.

Please see the following link for instructions on how to do this.

Please ensure all meals are booked and paid for upfront. If your dinner money account falls into arrears we reserve the right to refuse to provide a meal from the school kitchen until your debt has been paid. In these circumstances you will be asked to provide your child with a packed lunch from home each day.
