School Reopening for Early Years/ Reception/Year 1 and Year 6

School will reopen on Tues 2nd June for Early Years, Reception , Year 1 and Year 6 children.

You will have already been given your allocated gate and arrival time via text message and/or email.

Please ensure you arrive promptly not early/late to avoid crowding at the gate.

Please remember to adhere to the 2m social distancing guidelines at all times outside of the gate.

No parents are allowed in school, if you have any queries please call or email office@stoneydelph.staffs.sch.uk

Please stand well back from the gate in an orderly queue.

Children need to wear school uniform, please ensure they wear a clean set of clothing EVERY day, we will relax the school uniform policy to enable parents to do this.  If you do not have enough uniform for a clean outfit every day children can wear a plain t-shirt/shorts/joggers/trousers/leggings.

Children should wear trainers but please ensure they are able to tie their own laces as staff will be unable to help with laces.

Children will not need to bring a PE kit to school

If the weather is warm please ensure you apply sunscreen in the morning and provide your child with a hat. We are unable to reapply sun screen throughout the day.

Please also ensure your child has a lightweight jacket with them every day as lots of learning will be done outdoors as much as possible weather permitting.

Pupils should bring their own water bottle with them every day which can be filled up at the taps in the classroom.

Children can either bring their own packed lunch from home or order one from school. For younger children please ensure they are able to open packets, peel their own fruit etc as staff will be unable to help with this. If you require a packed lunch from school please ensure you book your child's meal via ParentPay.

There will be no milk or snacks for sale so please ensure you child brings a healthy snack for break time.

If year 6 children are bringing a mobile phone to school it must be handed into the teacher upon arrival to the classroom, NOT the school office as previous arrangements have been.
