The full Governing Body have two meetings per term (normally half termly). This enables one meeting to follow the Entrust advisory agenda and one meeting to follow a school focussed agenda. The Governing Body do not run a regular committee structure preferring all Governors to participate in all areas of the agenda.

The Governing Body does have a Head Teacher appraisal committee who also act as a pay and review committee. They meet as required. Arrangements are also in place if the Governing Body need to convene a specialist committee and / or appeals committee - for example over disciplinary action or instance of a potential pupil exclusion.

One of the very important jobs that our Governors do is agreeing our school policies and practices. Some of the most important ones are here. Please don't hesitate to ask at the school office if you wish to see a particular policy.
